At Luke's Pharmacy & Wellness, we have been providing Pharmacy services in the Wood River Valley since 2012 after buying Karen’s Family Pharmacy, which opened back in 1989. The Pharmacy has always been a staple in the community.
The "small town pharmacy" feel is evident upon stepping into the pharmacy as you look around. This feel also becomes quite apparent as you see the interactions between the team and the customers. Our customers are our friends, family members; community members and we treat them as such. Our Pharmacy has built the reputation for being the place to go to find, well, almost anything. If you are looking for that odd brace or specific cream, the chances are we have it, and if not, it will be ordered in for you.
We have long been the ONLY Pharmacy in the valley for a variety of services including: Compounding, Drive-up services, Delivery, Medication Synchronization, and a large variety of durable medical equipment such as bathroom aids, walkers, wheelchairs, diabetic shoes and compression stockings and more. All of these services combined with an experienced staff that meets on a weekly basis to discuss how to better serve our patients results in a pharmacy experience that is unmatched!.
The pharmacy has 2 well-trained pharmacists on staff. Luke owns the Pharmacy and has been with the team since May of 2009. Lisa started with Karen’s Pharmacy in 1996 and has proven to be a very knowledgeable and caring Pharmacist.
Our two All-Star technicians are Erika and Katy. Their work ethic and knowledge are unmatched, and they keep us going. Lisa, Erika and Katy have all been with Luke since he started Luke’s Pharmacy in 2012.

Luke
Owner/Pharmacist
Luke graduated pharmacy school from Idaho State University in May 2009 and immediately began working for Karen's Family Pharmacy. He took over ownership of the pharmacy in 2012 and relocated it to its current Main Street location. Luke is married to Kelsey, who also works at the pharmacy. They have four girls and two boys: Lily, Adynne, Brooklyn, Pyper, Rusty and Boone. Luke's passion in the pharmacy world is compounding. He has attended multiple compounding training seminars, with topics including Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy and veterinary compounding, which have provided great tools for better serving the patients in the Wood River Valley.
Kelsey
Owner/Bookkeeper
Kelsey started working at the pharmacy in 2019 after marrying Luke, and resigning from almost a decade of teaching in the public school system. Kelsey has loved the transition of becoming a pharmacy owner and is grateful for their staff and customers in the Wood River Valley. A mother of five, she loves to keep even busier by challenging herself in whatever athletic race she can compete in at the moment.
Lisa
Pharmacist
Lisa has worked at the pharmacy for over 15 years. Her pharmacy experience, expertise, and contagious laugh continue to touch the lives of customers and co-workers. Lisa also has a young family as her top priority in life. Husband Curtis has recently retired from Blaine County Sheriff's Department, and daughters Olivia and Madison keep her busy with school, skiing, hiking, and gymnastics.
Erika
Certified Technician
Erika has been with Luke's Pharmacy & Wellness since the beginning and was with the pharmacy under the previous ownership for many years. Erika was always a Pharmacy Technician, but recently studied very hard to become a CERTIFIED Pharmacy Technician. Erika is an extremely reliable and dedicated team member. Erika has 3 boys and 1 girl.
Katy
Certified Technician
Katy is a certified technician and has been with the Pharmacy since it became Luke's Pharmacy & Wellness. She is a wonderful technician that was raised here in Hailey. She’s a dedicated worked and enjoys home life with her sweet daughter Angeline.
